    Changing magazines

I am in the process of switching a .308 over to .223. I have the barrel switch made and appears Ok, using go and no-go gages. Now I am trying to get the new magazine in the action it has two small lips on both ends that match cuts made in the receiver. Without bending one or the other lip up I don't see any way of getting the new box into the receiver without some serious prying. There might ber some trick to this but so far I haven't found a easy solution, any ideas?

    Thanks, Richard

Put the rear tab in slot, use a flathead screwdriver on the front, tap with hammer & it will pop in...thats how I do it anyway.

I do the same as 5spd except I put the front in first. The rear slot is beveled for that reason, I believe.
