One of the things that cause me the greatest problem at the range is that the crosshairs obscure a large part of the target that I am trying to look at. For instance I am trying to shoot the best group the the exact center of the bullseye is covered by the crosshairs. Leupold addressed this issue in their TMR reticle found in the Mark IV scopes. The crosshairs don't actually cross. They come nearly together but the center is clear. I know you are supposed to put on the best glass you can afford. However, the best glass I can afford isn't always a $1500 scope. Does anyone else make a scope with crosshairs that don't actually cross for at a more affordable price? I know there are some scopes out there with just a post but I do like the mil-dot for hold over/windage estimations.
