wondering about Leupold mounts for Savage 10PC?

Ok I just got a new Savage 10 precision carbine. I have a set of quick detach Leupold scoe rings I'm gonna use so I had to buy the QD the Leupold QD bases for the rings. In the package there are 2 longer screws and 2 shorter screws. I'm wondering where the different length screw go? I'm sure one of the shorter screws goes into the chamber area where the locking lug goes but what about the rest?
