    Long action length


    Is the 300 win mag savage the same action as the 7 mag and 30-06 etc or is the bottom/mag port lengthened slightly?

    To my knowledge, the only differences would be the magazine box, spring and follower, and the bolt face for standard cartridge opposed to magnum.
