    Do you guys remember?

    I am looking at a rifle that I believe is a model 12. It's the old black synthetic stock, blued, heavy barrel, accutrigger in .308. Has had 7 rounds put through it. It has a scope and bipod on it but it's not a package gun. Is it worth the $450 asking price? I really have been out of this too long.

    12FV maybe? Is the scope any good? That would be the determining factor for me.

    If its a 12FV in 308, I bought mine new about 4 or 5 years ago for $535.00 including tax and stuff and I was getting the best price I could find around here or on the net. I would say go for it.

    I think that $500 or so was about what they cost new back then if I remember correctly. Maybe a tad more. New ones now are higher.

    Is it a gloss blued w/a 26" barrel(a 12FV), or a matte blued w/either a 20" or 24" barrel(a 10FP)? The 10FP's sold for more money cause the dull finish made them "tactical" ::).

    I'd say the gun is probably worth it. Definately if the scope is decent.

    It's a gloss blue 26". Scope is I think a millet of some kind.

    I payed 380 for mine in 22-250 a few years back. Came with a cheap simmons scope. I'd still say it's a good deal if the scope is good.
