    synthetic stock filler

    Guys/Gals,

I'm looking for something to fill in the checkered areas on a synthetic factory stock. The filler won't serve any purpose other than smoothing out the area for duracoat paint. I'm just wanting a cleaner look compared to just painting over the checkered areas.

Something relatively cheap and available at a local auto/hardware store.....also don't need much so something that comes in a small amount would be great.

    Thanks!!!

I've seen several stocks where people have used Bondo, especially for thin areas. Be sure to prep well.
