Please post results when you get some data. I know a lot of guys shy away from Shaw, but I'm sure they make a fine barrel.
Ordered a Shaw barrel in early January, finally got it last night. Ordered a stainless sporter contour, chambered in 280AI.
Haven't shot it yet, but so far so good. Countour was accurate, threads on barrel meshed up perfect with both nut and action. Everything fit fine as far as headspace, and the throat seems optimum for several bullets, including VLDs.
Just a heads up to people. Will post results when I finally put some lead down the tube.

After hearing the stories lately about McGowen, thought people might like another cheap alternative.
Shaws have trouble too, I have rechambered 2 now that had galling inside the chamber. One I had to make into a 300 wsm because it was so bad.
Mine has a mirror chamber. Looks nice...still need to shoot it though. I ordered a Shaw knowing it was not a Pacnor etc, but for a big game rifle, hoping it is satisfactory. Had one on a 300 Win Ruger, and it was great.
Sinman, FYI, I will buy my next one from you. Didn't know about you before joining this site.
I bought a Shaw 6mm Rem. a year or two ago. Very good barrel. I will buy from them again.
Stu
im surprised you got it that quick. i spoke with them about a year ago
and was told they were backlogged for about 1 year.
I love my ER Shaw 260 Rem, 26" Heavy Varmint ! ;D
They told me 10 weeks, and it took 13. I am now sending it off to have it fluted, and the action is off getting coated.
.
Have a few dozen Shaw barrels.
Don't have a bad one yet.
