    DBM question

I am considering buying a Savage .300 WM with a DBM to swap to .264 WM. Are the DBMs reliable? Will their length allow for use of longer bullets (130-140 grain) in the .264?
    THANKS!

    Re: DBM question

As I shoot .308, I can only account for part of your questions. Yes, the DBM setups work really well. I absolutely LOVE mine!!

    Re: DBM question

From what i understand the 7mm rem mag magazine also holds the 338 wm, and the 338 wm has the same loaded length as the 300 & 264 wm. And the 7mm is shorter than all of them so I would definetly think they could take a little longer of a round. I could be completely wrong though.

    Re: DBM question

Thanks for the info guys. From what I can find, a LA DBM will take up to a 3.5" COL so I should be good up to around 140 gr. bullets. Since I don't have access to a DBM to measure I have to research it a bit to make sure that is the way to go.

Any other input would be greatly appreciated.
