The Mark II is available with a thumbhole stock. These are inherently accurate. You couldn't go wrong with one. have the Mark II BV, has a laminated stock but no thumbhole. This thing is a one-holer.
Is any certain model Savage 22 LR more accurate than any other? Not really wanting a bull bbl. I'm looking to buy a 22 lr bolt, or semi, but i want accuracy most of all....i know it depends on ammo, scope, shooters abilities, etc......also, if there is a certain model, is it available in a thumbhole stock? Thanks for any suggestions...rsbhunter
If you stand for nothing, Then you'll fall for anything!

The thumbhole stock models (BTVS and BTVLS) do have heavy barrels, not quite bull but much larger in diameter than the sporter weight rifles.Originally Posted by rsbhunter
