    Range report

After about 120 rounds down the tube of a new Mod. 10 FCP-K with Kahles 2.2x9x42 scope. Two piece Leupold bases. Broke the barrel in using LC Match 168 gr. 7.62x51
Using Federal GM match 168 gr. SBHP was able to produce a 4-shot, 7/8's of an inch group at 200 yards just touching the X. Sub MOA to be sure. As a non paying member, I can't post pics but I'm a believer. Can't wait to hand-load for this rifle.

It's always good seeing a happy Savage shooter. Congrats on the gun shooting good. You can probably expect about a 100% increase in accuracy once you trace down what bullet and powder your rifle likes. Until I was reloading, I was always happy that I was able to keep the bullets on the x ring at 300 yards. Now, with my loads I am concerned if I don't have holes touching or very close to touching at the same range.

Great shooting, you can still post pictures being a basic user. Go to the picture post section and look at picture posting 101.
There really is an excuse for everything!

If you go back to the forums listing section and scroll down you will see the photo 101 section. It will be in the section just before the humor section.

My wallet is still recovering from the purchase of the Savage. Every spare dollar will be assigned to said pay-off. I'll join when the fat lady sings.
