    110 new stock

I need a new stock for my 7mm mag with a stock sporter barrel. I was looking at a Duramax or a laminate thumbhole. Will a duramax work for a sporter weight barrel? My factory wood stock has been bedded but not pillar bedded. I don't seem to get consitant groups. Any opinions would be great.

This is an awesome stock for a long action sporter:

Bell & Carlson Medalist™ Classic Checkered Riflestocks - Savage 110, with Aluminum Bedding

Pretty sure it is made for a staggered feed action.

I have a Savage - Stevens 200 in .270 with a center feed action in one.

To do this you have to fit the center feed mag box in the stock yourself.

Remove center feed mag box tab, adjust height so it feeds right and doesn't drag on the bolt, and then epoxy it in on each end.

Can you give a guesstimate on the B&C Medalist Sporter's weight? I'm looking at doing a real light weight build, and it's between the B&C, the Stockade sporter, and the Manners sporter....Thanks, rsbhunter
