    Bolt Extractor Parts

    Good Evening

While I was lubing up my Savage bolt, I applied a little downward pressure on the extractor and it came out of the bolt, and some parts went flying out. I looked all over for the parts, but had no luck finding them. Does anyone have an idea what parts I will need to replace, and where I can find them.

    Not a good Day, Ken

They all should be available at midway. There are three parts the extractor, the spring, and a ball bearing. If you need part #'s I can get em for you

I really hate it when parts launch themselves. ( I did it too so don't feel lonely)

just a though....are we sure he's not talking about the ejector vs the extractor? i don't know how the ejector would come out like that but i guess it's possible if it broke in half.

No, it's the extractor. I just did a quick check on the Savage site, and found the parts with their parts finder. Thank's for the info, I think I'm good to go until urf up something else.

Assemble or dis-assemble in a zip lock bag. How do I know, I just launched two bearings and the spring from a rear baffle. I was lucky, I found everything.
