    SSS long-action .378 conversion

I've been communicating with SSS for their .378 bolt head kit for a long action...but I'm curious what others here who have that kit have done for a mag follower. Do you just use the rifle as a single shot, or use a standard 30-06 follower, or ____________?

I use mine as a single shot. Being a bench rifle, I don't find it a problem.

I don't know what you would do with a centerfeed, but on the staggered feed, It takes a bit of work to fit a 223/204 magazine to the action, but it can be done. Some have built tabs onto the back of the magazine to make it fit the longer action, or the other option is to take the long action box, and build a baffle in the back to block off the magazine well, and use a 223/240 follower.
