Savage 16 FHSS vs. 16 FCSS in 223 Remington

I am debating between the 16 FHSS and the 16 FCSS in 223 Remington and I have a few questions:

    1) They both have a 1-9" twist, what is the heaviest bullet it can stabilize?

    2) Does the detachable box magazine have a clip which fits between the receiver and the stock? I was looking at a schematic and it looked like it. I have a FHSS in 250 Savage and it does not have this clip. Does anyone have a picture of the action out of the stock and how the clip interacts with it and the stock?

    3) What is the maximum overall length for a .223 cartridge in the magazine box or detachable magazine? Would some bullets need to be single loaded?

    4) I see an MSRP of $801, what is an actual street price?

    Thanks.

I will comment on the 2 things I am familiar with. As far as heavy bullets 69gr SMK for sure, most people have good results with the 77gr or the 75gr a-max but not everyone it seems. I top out with the 69gr smk bullets. The maximum overall length in my gun is right around 2.320-2.350" to feed out of my magazine. Street prices in my area are usually at least 20 percent off msrp and usually 25 percent off.
