Stevens 200 .223 stock and detachable Mag?

Does anyone make a GOOD replacement stock that will allow me to convert the 200 in .223 to a removable magazine?
    Please don't answer just yes.
I would like to buy a choate stock and put in a detachable Mag for a 223 cal. all the ones I've seen I only see 308's listed.

These will all work, assuming you have a .223 Savage Stevens 200, short action, centerfeed action:

    HS-Precision-Pro-Series-M24

    HS-Precision-Pro-Series-Varmint

    Choate Tactical

    There are others ...

I just bought two sets of bottom metal from Savage, along with a .223 and a .308 magazine.

I also found out the CDI bottom metal would work with the AICS .223 or .308 magazine.

    CDI Precision Gunworks bottom metal

Had I known this up front I may not have bought the factory Savage bottom metal ...

I have a Stevens 200, short action, centerfeed 4.40 but do these stocks HS, or Choate whatever come with mags or do I use the one that's in there or buy them separately

Oh, the Stevens 200 do not have detachable magazines. They are have internal magazines and no bottom metal.

To go to a detachable magazine, you need a stock that is inletted for a detachable magazine, detachable magazine bottom metal, and the detachable magazine itself ...

You have to buy the detachable magazine bottom metal and the detachable magazine separate, the stock does not come with it.

Without breaking the bank I can offer you Savage Synthetic or Laminate Wood Stocks with the DBM features. As long as your Stevens is a 4.4" Centerfeed Action the Savage DBM Stocks will work just fine.

I like the HS stock but does it have to be inleted for bottom metal?
