Sorry, caliber .22LR ;D
Hello from Spain, please sorry for me terrible English...
I have a doubt about the *weight* between those rimfire. On the Savage's site shows:
BTVS = 7'5LBS
BTV = 6'5BLS
As everybody says, both are the same rimfire just only a difference barrel & action finish: Is it correct?, Is it the one and only difference between them?.
Thx so much for your help & support,
Regards,
Digi.

While I cannot answer, I'm sure there are many here that can, maybe this will bump it back up where they will notice.
Whenever the legislators endeavor to take away and destroy the property of the people, or to reduce them to slavery under arbitrary power, they put themselves into a state of war with the people, who are thereupon absolved from any further obedience
Thanks for your reply. I was trying to find on the web the difference but always the same answer: barrel & action finish. But 1lbs it's too much for that difference, only the chrome finish... I don't know!!!
:)
I believe it's a mistake on the Savage web site and the two rifles weigh just about the same. My BTVLS weighs about 8-1/2 pounds complete with a Bushnell Elite 4-12x40 scope. This scope weighs just about 1 pound so I think the real weight of these rifles is about 7-1/2 pounds (~3.4 kilo)
Thanks *cycler*, nice numbers !!!
