    Savage target action question

I have purchased a Savage target action (3 screw). I really like the B&C Medalist stock. I believe the two end screws are the 4.4" spacing that would fit the centerfeed model. My questions is-By not using all three screws, eliminating the middle one,am I asking for problems? Rifle caliber is 6mm BR. Thanks for any help.

I personally believe the whole 3 screw action thing is a gimmick.

You will be fine using 2 of the 3 action screws only.

Nope, as long as you have two screws in the action you will be fine. It dont matter wich ones.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking the same thing. Im looking at the larger calibers with only 2 action screws. Maybe it is alittle overkill. Im just a recreational shooter, hitting paper for fun. I just wanted to put something alittle different together. Thanks guys.
