thumbhole stocks for the savage 10mlII

i really want to try a thumbhole stock was thinking the ross varmint thumbhole for the model 10 its already opened up for the heavy contour varmint barrell its from boyds stocks has anyone tried this. Would i need to pillar bed it or bed the action or both please help. want to do it myself any help would be appreciated

You will have to bed it, with pillars. All done at one time. Refer to the bedding how to for instructions.
