Can you build a rifle using the Axis/Edge action as easily as with the 110 action?

not as easy, no one makes a stock yet, triggers are different but can be tweaked, only easy part is swapping barrels

OK-I'm thinking of a 223AI, but anticipate feeding problems with the DBM.

That's good news that they fit other barrels. I have my first savage and my wires first on lay a way and will be able to swap barrels around... mine is 10xp and hers is axis

Some after market barrels with tighter threads won't thread in so if you get an after market barrel you might expect to have the threads touched up. I would start with a Stevens if I was you.

heard that too, haven't tried but 6 barrels so far but who knows as much metal shavings as was left in my threads from the factory maybe mine have been reamed a little ;D

Hi guys,

I am looking for anyone or any-way to fit a new stock to a Savage Edge action (.223). Im thinking of a Boyds Tacticool.
Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of whether the stock could be altered to allow the Edge action ?

Im from Australia also.
