    Loads for 10FP 308

I have a new Savage Model 10 FP in 308, I have loaded rounds for the bore break in and 5 rounds for 2200, 2250, 2300, 2350, 2400 and 2450 FPS. Cases are a mixed but all are trimed to 2.010 with a neck thickness of 0.015. I am using Winchester Large Rifle Primers, Varget power, 175gr Seirra Matchking, seated for a 0.016 jump.

I have 20 cases left over and I would like load data so I try for a tight groups.

If you have Model 10 in 308 and have reload that shoots tight group would you please share.

    Thank you for your time.

To get tight groups, mixed headstamp brass won't help even with trimming and other case prep. Get brass of the same brand and preferably the same lot and you will be better off in the long run.

These loads are what I shoot out of my Savage 10FCP .308. But be sure to start a little lower and work up just in case.

If you want to have some fun watching varmints doing acrobatic flips or in your case good grouping, try some 110gr vmax's or sierra 110hp accompanied by 50gr of varget fun for the whole family, "not the varmint family" also easy on brass.
    as allways re loaders beware.
    thanks Dean
