I have ordered two barrels from them. The customer service was great. Turn around time was about 4 months. Both barrels have great threads cut on them, the chambers are straight and cleanly cut, and the rifling looks very good. How do they shoot.......well....I'm still in the process of building the rifles, so have not fired a shot thru either one so I couldn't tell you. Doing my research before the purchase showed that I should be able to expect MOA or better!
i have a er shaw barrel on a 110 i have chambered in 257 roberts. they actually had one in stock that some one didn't want the suited my needs. its a 24" standard contour with a 1:10 twist rate plain blue. they are a real nice barrel, chambers are great the finish closely matches the receiver. free floating on a wooden stock with some action work it shoots sub moa at a 100 yds. ill post pics the next time i go to the range.

Have bought many different barrels from a variety of sources.
E R Shaw barrels are good barrels. Have bought Shaw barrels in the past and will again in the future.
Also, make sure to consider barrels from Shilen, Pac-Nor, and any barrels from Northlander.

I tried ordering a barrel from Shaw a few weeks ago. I sent an e-mail in which I told them exactly what I wanted to order and to this day I still have gotten no response. After several days I tried calling. The guy I talked to was pretty rude and acted like they did not want my business. I then found this site and after reading everyone's reviews comments and reviews I ordered one from Savage-barrels.com.
.
Most of the Shaw barrels I have ordered were by phone as I was walking down a jetway to board a plane.
Never tried to order one via their website.

What is Shaw charging for their barrels?
depends what your order, look it up to see there options.Originally Posted by oapstate

Again, Shaw makes good barrels.
But consider Shilen, Pac-Nor, and Northlander supplied barrels too.
I have found them all to be worth more than what they charge.

thanks for your thoughts. I'm so undecided on what get at this point, but I'll take into consideration all the advice.
