    Nightforce NXS 8-32x56 NP2DD

    Nightforce NXS 8-32x56
    NP2DD Illuminated Reticle - .25 MOA Turrets

I just bought the above scope for my 308! I set the focus and paralex, but sometimes it seems like I am seeing two dots (top dot). Do I have the scope adjusted wrong or am I missing something? Or last, maybe it's just my eyes!

    Just looking for an opinion.

See the reticle on the above site.

    Dennis:

Are you seeing a dot above the top dot?? There is a dot on top of the vertical trianglular line and one below it....so there arein fact two dots...thus the "DD" designation..Double Dot. Here's a picture of the reticle:

If you're seeing something different....I'd mess with the focus. If that doesn't do it...give NightForce a call...they are great people to work with.

    Good Luck,

    Wayne

If you are seeing 2 dots one of 2 reasons- I have this scope-

1- There are supposed to be to dots. At 22 power, the one below is 8 moa
2- If you are seeing 2 dots where there should be 1 dot (4 dots total now) you need to turn the focus ring on the back of the eyepiece. I had the same thing happen when I got mine.

This is the case, I will refocus the scope!

Also, what is the R on the power ring?

R is the power setting at which oyu can use a NF scope reticle to rangefind. read the destruction manual that came with your scope.
