    ultramag action


    can someone please tell me what changes savage did to their long action to make it work with the ultramag actions.i am wanting to use the aics cip mags and the stock maker needs to know how savage opened up the mag well.if anyone has any measurments of the action that would be nice.thanks,marty

    The mag well is .220" longer towards the rear, and that's it.
