It should not be a problem. The nut has the same threads as every other nut so it is good to go.

A couple of questions:
1. Will the barrel from the former Accutrigger but non-Accustock rifle fit an Accustock action and stock? I have a left-over 7mm-08 barrel I'd like to inmstall on a Model 16 Accustock in .243. So is it a drop-in fit?
2. Will the old style ridged barrel nut work on an Accustock action?
It should not be a problem. The nut has the same threads as every other nut so it is good to go.

You'll need an accustock recoil lug.

Won't the recoil lug that's on the rifle work with the replacement barrel?Originally Posted by geargrinder

I thought the action, stock, and new barrel were all coming together for the first time.
ellobo is correct, everything will work fine.
