will ejector&extractor from 223 bolthead work in 308?

Hi guys!

I'm thinking about re-barreling my 12fv in 223 to 308 (or maybe 6.5x47 lapua). I will need to replace bolthead and front baffle, and my question is: can I remove extractor&ejector from 223 bolthead and use them in 308 bolthead? Or they are different so I have to buy a complete 308 bolthead?

To my knowledge, you should be able to transfer those parts to a new bolt head. If I'm off base, someone will chime in and correct me.

.223 extractors are longer and will not work for a standard .473 bolt head. You can trim some from the outside edge and it will work fine. The rest of the parts are the same.
