B&C Medalist for the stevens 200

I have a stevens 200 that I am wanting to restock. It is the new 4.40 centerfeed as the magazine stays in the stock when action is removed. Just wanted to double check before I ordered but it looks like B&C has this stock as this is the description -$218.33 2997 Savage 4.40" Centerfeed, 30 Tan w/ Black Web -In Stock. Im guessing this will work and just wanted to ask to make sure.

Yes, that is the one that you will need.

Just so ya know, the Medalist is inletted for a varmint contour barrel, so your Stevens sporter barrel will be WELL free-floated in the channel.

Yep. That's the stock. I just ordered one myself last week for a build. I have one on a stagger feed .223 and I really like it from the bench. Where are you getting yours from?

They were out of stock when I was ordering last week. That's the exact color I ordered but from somewhere else.

They showed the stock as IN STOCK so I just placed a order from StockysStocks. Hopefully the website was not wrong

They were not showing "in stock" last week. They are pretty good about keeping on top of that. I've ordered from them before.

I'm still waiting. Looks like I've have been better off just waiting for Stocky's to come back in stock or backordering from them. Oh well. Both of my projects are on hold waiting for stocks right now...

I just checked and I should have the stock tomorrow. Now I just need to get on the ball with a new barrel and trigger.

Compared to the HS stock, how do you rate the B&C Stock?

Got the stock today. Everything went together perfect and seems like a nice snug fit. It is alittle heavy but I like the feel so far. Here is a pic.

I don't have an HS stock to compare to, but the more I shoot it, the better I like the Medalist that I have and I'm looking forward to getting the new one.
