Adding weight to a LRPV stock

It seems like my gun is really front heavy so I'm thinking on adding weight to the back end of the stock. I have not pulled the recoil pad yet but I was wondering if anyone has drilled holes under the pad and put in some lead to even it out a little.

    Thanks,
    Ron

The pad is glued on, so you will have to saw it off.

Slice it just above the hard plastic part of the pad with a bandsaw. I glued it back on with gorilla glue.
