    red dot scope

Hi what red dot scope's are out there that's a good deal, a balance between one that's not a turd and not a kings ransom.
    Thanks Dean

Vortex StrikeFire available @ Cameraland (a sponser here) for $150.00 is pretty hard to beat. We have had two of them on AR's for over a year now and they work flawlessly.

I'll second the Strikefire. Mine went from my AR to my lightweight Stevens in 308. Shoots very well, and haven't had a problem with it.

I have no personal experience, but I have heard excellent things about the Primary Arms red dots. I personally have a Strikefire that does great as well. The Primary Arms sights are under $100.

I have looked at a few of them and discovered that you really do get what you pay for. The low dollar units have fuzzy optics even though there is not magnification.
