Where can I get a 110 action (older style, flat rear reciever)

Hey guys, I'm new here, & my name is Doug. I'm looking for any and all the older style 110 actions I can find. (Flat rear reciever) I like the older ones, because when/if you can find them, they're pretty reasonable. I build my own rifles for different, non-standard calibers. Like my 6.5 WSM, or my 358 "Sledgehammer Magnum". This is one of my all time favorites. It shoots very well, and as the name implies, with 250 gr Hornady Sp's at 3100 fps, hits like a sledgehammer. (At both ends if you're not careful) ;D ;D

If anyone can help me out, that would be great.

Thanks, and I hope to make some new friends while I'm here as well.

    Doug... 8)

With a paid membership you could access the classified section, they come up all the time.

    Doug,

I'm going to put a Long Action Savage receiver with the flat rear up on Gunbroker in about a week. It doesn't have the bolt, sear or sear spring but the latter two parts are pretty inexpensive and readily available. Just depends on if you have an extra bolt or not, or feel like buying one from a member here....

    Take care, BP

you will be better off buying a complete 110 rifle from gunbroker or here. I see them going for around 250-300 often, and sometimes cheaper if you are very lucky.

Yup, Gunbroker is where I got mine, $261 shipped for a Sav 111 .270 with a illum. reticle scope. Then sold the scope and stock for $90 (shipped), and can still sell the barrel.
    Doing a 6.5-.284 Norma build.
