First cat

A good friend and me went in on a land lease. Having great luck so far, first week-end called my first dog and this week-end called my first cat. Thought I'd share the pics.[img][/img] [img][/img] img]

    Re: First cat

Nice cat. The DNR re-introduced cats back into our area a couple years ago, but the have a pretty low number on the number we can take, I have only saw one so far and it was in the off-season. One of these years the numbers will hit a point where I will be seeing them and be able to take one. Until then I will just enjoy seeing all you guys out there get em.

    Nice Kill.

OK. If you're getting him mounted it should be fine. If you were hunting for fur...totally different story.

Does Vmax leave smaller holes? I thought it might have more rapid expansion and leave nasty exits.. i shoot them for accuracy(223 AR) , but will be using them for coyotes and Pdogs as the opportunity presents itself.

The second cat was shot with a 50gr. V-max, exit hole about the size of a nickel. Probably would have been smaller but it hit the shoulder on exit.

Barnes claims their TNT green bullets wouldn't exit. They are supposed to fragment rapidly.
