Midway had stainless barrel nuts in stock a few days ago; I got a blued barrel nut from Brownells last week (they also had stainless in stock).

Midway has been out of blued barrel nuts for at least 3 weeks; they were supposed to be back in stock on 1/4 but on 1/6 that changed to 1/25 and the website is now showing 1/30.

Looks like they are out of stainless barrel nuts too, on backorder until 2/2.

Brownells costs a bit more than Midway, but they have both blue & stainless in stock...for those who get impatient, like I did ;D

Well, I guess I can wait. Does Savage want significantly more for them?

    Tried SSS?
They who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

I've always gotten mine from Midway but I believe savage-barrels.com has them too. Not sure if Savage will sell them directly or not?
