I have a savage bvss in 223 and it shoots great.I get 1/2 inch groups at 200 meters.I us AA 2520 at 26 grain and sierr 69 grain BT match.Primers are CCI small rifle and lake city brass.I also have been shooting IHMSA for 29 years.Love those xp100/7x47/7TCU/7IHMSA/7BR.I just order a savage 12 bench rest in 308 cal.Hope to get to shoot in some match.I have a leopold 6x24 VIII with fine cross hairs. What would be a good load for it.Thanks.

Try 43 grains of IMR 4064 and a 168 Nosler J-4 bullet, works for me!

My favorite load for 308 is 45.1 grains IMR 4859, CCI lr primers hornady 155gr A-Max.
They who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.
