    12 Benchrest base

I recently bought a new model 12 Benchrest in 6mmBR. I would like to know which one piece base people are using that has roughly 20 MOA built into the base.

+1 on the Bench Source. Comes in 0 amd 20.
Oz never gave nothing to the Tin Man, that he didn't already have.

Thanks for the advice. I am anxious to get the ole Schmidt & Bender on top & see if this thing is going to shoot ragged holes

A special thanks to 82Boy for taking the time to answer my PM's w/ in depth answers.... With a little luck I should have a range report ready by this time next week.

Here is what I can already tell you before even going to the range... this sucker is front heavy! That 29" barrel is a real monster.

That is why I had mine cut off at 26 inches. You only lose 14 fps per inch and the rifle will balance much better.

    GT40 - I dig your rig!

Yes I am going to cut some of that barrel off... it is just to long & I could careless about the 15 to 20 fps that I lose. Additionally I am going to put a little weight in the back of the stock to further offset the long barrel feeling this rifle has.

With a little bit of luck I will be squeezing round off this Saturday
