    Model 11 LRH problem

I just bought a LRH in 300 wsm and was just checking to see if the fired brass from my model 16 would work ok in this rifle. The brass was Full Length sized and when I load the shell the brass rubs the front end of the receiver putting a massive, deep scratch in the brass.this rifle is still unfired and NIB. Anyone else had this problem or heard of anyone with this issue. Any help would be greatly apprecieted.

I'd clean it completely before firing or cycling brass...

    especially the chamber....

Are you feeding "empty" brass from the mag? If that is what you are doing - there is your problem.

I'm feeding resized brass with a bullet stuck in the end of it to check OAL. I don't have any gauges to check this with.
