I havent used one or seen one but Weaver, being one of the oldest scope companies still in existence, usually puts our quality stuff. There are lots of good scopes out there but is always comes down to price even with me. Need more information like how much power your looking at, budget, etc...

Id like something with up to atleast 16 power. I'd like to spend $200 at the very most. Also lookes at the Vortex Crossfire, but never seen one!

I paid 249 for my Vortex Viper 6.5-20x44 and am pretty happy with it. Trying to hold your budget to $200 keeps you in inferior glass but for $250 you can get into some much better scopes. A budget minded scope that has exceptional glass is the Swift Premier linehttp://www.swift-sportoptics.com/rs_premier.htm They use the same Schott glass that is used in the high dollar european glass but their made in asia.

+1 on the Swifts! I have several and am very pleased with them. They're made in Korea but claim to have American made glass. They are very bright and clear, durable and have a lifetime warranty. I have thought about trying one of the Weaver 40/44's but haven't yet but I have read good things about them. I'm pretty sure they are what was the Intensity optics line.

I have two of the Weaver 6.5X20 40/44s and love em. I got mine through Optics Planet for $203 shipped. The clarity is on par with my Vortex scopes (of which I have four). Windage/elevation adjustments are spot on and repeatable.

Sorry for late reply. Go to Natchez.com and look at the Intencity scopes selling for under $100, same scope just rebadged Weaver 40/44.
