    308 Win Barrels

With so many good barrels out there, I just need some input as to which 308 Winchester barrels are shooting the best for you guys. I've heard lots of good reports on lots of different cartridges, but I'm really looking for some good info mainly on 308 Winchester with the 175 class longer range stuff. Thanks guys.

    Respectfully,

    Kevin

Almost all 308 barrels on stock rifles are adequate for the everyday target shooter. The real gain in accuracy is found in reloading. Right powder and amount. Right bullet and seating(COAL). And; of course, practice, practice and more practice. But if you just have to have that extra edge there's nothing wrong with a Hart, McGowen or Lilja (just to name a few).
