My .223 with a 1-12 twist would not shoot these (too long) for the weight.

My 22-250 with a 1-14 twist would not shoot these either.

Both were Weatherby Vangards with a factory standard twist.

The 1-14 twist has trouble with any Hornady V-Max 55 and heavier.

The 45 Grain TSX might shoot with your twist I just never tried it.

    It's a 25.00$ question.

My Ruger 77 220 Swift shoots them fine. I use 40 grs of 4064 for 3925 MV, it's pretty stout but have had no problems. I also load the 60 Hornady hp in my rifle and my buddies and they work fine. I don't know about a 223, it may not be fast enough, but you should not have any problems with a 22-250. I have shot 55 gr Hornadys in my 222 with no problems either.
