If by SA you mean short action then, yes. But you need to find the appropriate magazine, which might be difficult these days. Or, just use it as a single shot.
I'm looking for a SA action with a 223 bolt face. I found one that has a .308 face. Can I replace the .308 with a smaller one and build a .204. I'm thinking yes, but need expert opinion please. Thank for your help.

And also get the correct front baffle that has the wing on the side of it to limit bolt travel for the shorter cartridge. Gunshack should have both.
Correct! Having these two parts and your Action would be set for 223, 300blk, 204 Ruger, etc.

Or you could just grab one of these, which is what I would do!

The baffle isn't really necessary as long as you don't mind a little more bolt travel. I flipped mine several times and I actually liked having the extra room to place rounds in the chamber.
Thank you men. Lot to look at. Got the barrel. I was looking for a Short--Small bolt for a Winchester action. But that seams like an unlikely unicorn.
