Savage 110 Apex hunter XP (lefty) bolt

Yes, this is a lefty :)
The bolt handle is a to close to the stock, I'm trying to find an alternative bolt handle that is longer. Currently when I pull action bolt back/forward, it scraps the skin because it's to close. I've tried different adjustments for the scope, up/down, forward/backwards and nothing will work. Anyone have any recommendations? I've come across only 1 aftermarket handle from gunshack.com item number 109799 Savage 10/110 Tactical Bolt Handle - LEFT HAND, not sure if it would fit mine either.

My top choice is Lumley Titanium. Though I’ve had the Glades and they are nice as well. There are some others, though these are the top choices.

    Lumley Arms

    Glades Armory

    Tactical Works

Below is my bolt with the Lumley Titanium Bolt Handle. The knob is also Titanium, but I machined that myself. You can purchase one of several different options of Bolt Knob along with the Handle.

I have a scope on mine that has long scratch marks on the side where the bolt handle rubs it. You can also go to higher scope mount rings if you still need more clearance.

Thank you, I have tried this and unfortunately it does not work in my case.

I think I will try one of these, thank you! Would these be the right fit? I am not familiar with gun parts.

Would what be the correct fit? I provided several links. Or perhaps you meant to leave a link you found yourself? Or did you mean the 109799 bolt handle you came across? If so, yes, it will fit. But it will likely not alleviate your problem. In fact it may exasperated the situation. Imagine your current bolt handle with a bigger, longer head. It’s not longer in the arm portion, only in the knob. It’s a factory tactical bolt handle. It’s also the lowest quality & most expensive out there. And the knob is not replaceable. The others I’ve listed have removable bolt knobs save for the one from Tactical Works. But at least it’s longer in the arm section.
