So now that SHOT Show is over, what new things have caught your attention? Here's my Top 10 in no particular order...


  1. Woox has a new "Superleggera" ultralight hunting stock that combines carbon fiber and walnut and has a more traditional shape then their other chassis.
  2. Smith & Wesson has a new "1854" model lever -action rifle in .44 Magnum that is essentially a copy of the Marlin 1894.
  3. Bond Arms is looking to enter the lever-gun market with their new prototype LVRB lever-action rifle which is not a traditional looking lever-gun.
  4. CZ has added a new "American" model to their 600-series line of Rifles. Additionally, CZ is now offering a Limited Lifetime Warranty on their barrels, meaning if you shoot it out they will replace it free of charge - even for barrel-burner's such as the PRC cartridges.
  5. Ruger has a new and improved "Gen 2" line of their popular American series bolt-action centerfire rifles.
  6. Colt will now be offering the Python revolver in a high polish blued version.
  7. Henry Arms has a new detachable magazine fed lever-action rifle chambered in .300 Blackout dubbed the "Supreme."
  8. Christensen Arms has a new "Evoke" line of bolt action rifles that comes equipped with Trigger Tech triggers and have an MSRP starting at just $900.
  9. Ruger is reintroducing the Marlin 336 and 1894 in "Classic" trims
  10. Winchester has a new "Ranger" takedown lever-action rimfire rifle in 22LR with an MSRP of just under $400 which should make it very popular and cut into Henry's dominance of lever-action rimfire market.
