    After Market Bolt Handles

I looked at the FAQ section to see some of the bolt handles available. The one from SSS looks fine, but the last time I ordered from them there was no feed back in regards to shipping or order processing. I actually ordered two items and only received one.
So who, besides Savage, makes them? Northland has one but it is too short.

There are many. A quick Google Image search gives about every one. Here are a few.

Glades Armory has Right/Left handed and even Round/Flat rear Receiver. (I prefer the flat regardless)

Lumley makes a Titanium bolt handle. This is my favorite.

If you are looking to just get a bigger knob, then MDT Tac makes some clamp on bolt knobs. I don’t have one yet but probably will try one

I have the glades armory bolt handle on my 338 and it has done very well. I liked the look better then the square version. I like the looks of the SSS handle but had heard of other shipping issues.

The last one I bought was from iirc “extreme hardcore gear” it wasn’t a large oversized handle because I don’t believe they are necessary, rather a very nicely machined part that polished up quite well.

Thanks Dave.. I ordered a titanium handle from Lumleys today to try out for a target action build I’m getting ready to do.

I Ordered the Lumley bolthandle from Lumley on the 28th and received it in the mail today! Not bad. 5 days with a holiday weekend mixed in.

Dave is right! These handles are very nice! And very lightweight compared to the factory and other aftermarket options.

I would avoid SSS at all took me four years to get a bolt handle and bolt head, the bolt handle finish is coming off, rattle can paint job lasts longer.

    that saddens me.
The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.

Kinney's sells SSS parts, you'd have to visit their site to see if in stock.
