    Barrel nut removal


    OK guy's my first time trying to remove a barrel nut off my old model 12SAV, does the nut turn clockwise to loosen?

    Counterclockwise. When facing the muzzle.

    Hopefully this makes sense to you. Best attempt at imagery I could do.

    Yep, that's the approach I'm going to use, the barrel pointed horizonal out to my right side, pushing the tool downward counter clockwise. is the direction to loosen correct?

    Yes. Just like the picture I posted. My attempt at showing the Loosening direction in red, being Counterclockwise. It’s the same as if you were trying to remove a screw from the wall.
