I have an old model 12FLV 223rem I think it is, I have not shot in about 10yrs, it's a 26''HB 1&9 twist, it's pretty accurate with the 69gn Nosler CC 22.7gns of H322, @2900fps, I can put 10 shots inside of a milk jug lid @200m, the rifle is basically factory, sadly to say I'm getting ready to build it into a custom rifle in 6.5CR, if the op doesn't mind me asking a few questions in his thread I would appreciate it, I'm new to this forum, first post, can anyone tell me where I can find a Tactical bolt handle replacement for this model 12? also is the spacing in the receiver same as the newer 110 short actions? thanks.

OK I have 2 posts, OP while we're on the 223rem rifles not trying to hijack your thread, but does anybody know if the 110BA bolt handle will fit a model 12? also does anybody know if the 110SA receiver stock spacing for the stock screws the same as the M12?

Also, if you are simply looking for a larger Bolt Handle, there are several other options for bolt handles. And the aftermarket bolt handles are nicer than the factory part as well.

I’ll tell you a secret. Try doing a Google Image search for Savage 110 Bolt Handle. You’ll see all the options. Some are only available in RH, but there are still many LH options. I was simply giving a heads up in case you thought the 110BA was the only other option. But if you prefer the 110BA, go with it.

Tactical Works Inc. is showing Savage "lefty" tactical bolt handles.
Got my "lefty tactical" a few years back (It was from SSS IIRC ???) from Whidden Gun Works. Not showing them for sale anymore.
Oz never gave nothing to the Tin Man, that he didn't already have.
