    Axis Precision action/stock question.

So I purchased an axis Precision some time back in .308 Winchester. I wanted to take it hunting as it is the only 308 I have. Can I take it out of the chassis and put it in any axis stock assuming I get a new magazine as well? Or is there something else I'm missing? Thanks for the help.

Might have to open up the barrel channel to clear the heavy barrel on the Precision. Only takes a few minutes. Beware the earlier Axis stocks with the flexible forend. Pressure on a bipod (or other rest) could cause the stock to come in contact with the barrel. You can stiffen them up, just takes a bit of work on them.
