Savage Target in .338. Can I change the bolt face and rebarrel to a 7 PRC?

The locking lugs on the bolt may likely be shorter, so you would either have to adjust the firing pin protrusion, or buy another firing pin already made for the regular magnum bolt head. Still would be pretty easy to do though.

Yes, you can simply install & new Barrel & Bolt head. It’s going to be single shot?

Being that he said it's a target 338 would indicate it's a single shot action, and he stated it was 338 LM. So it sounds like it's the 112 Magnum Target model.
