Yeah, B637451 would be July, 1974 - but there shouldn't be a T in the middle of it. They did make the 24V in 222/20ga in 1974, so I'd say that's likely it.
Recently bought my 11th Model 24. This one is marked Savage 24V Series B. However, the serial number is perplexing and after searching threads, I haven't found where similar has been mentioned. There is a "T" in the middle of the serial. None of my other 10 have anything like that. Most don't have serials at all. I'm going to attempt to load pics. It's a little ugly at the moment. It had earlier parents. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
OK. I need to re-read the "how to load pics." Suffice to say, here're my weapon's details:
Savage 24V Series B
222 over 20g
Color case receiver
Looks factory drilled and tapped
Serial: B637T451
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
