You can’t. The Model 112 was made in the mid 90’s. I don’t believe 112 Actions alone, were ever offered. But not positive on that part. Your only option is search high & low & maybe come across used one.

Why exactly do you want a 112 in 223?

Northland Shooters Supply is one of the few places to get one.

Charlie, the OP is asking about the 112. The Long Action 223. Unless they were confused of course.

1)Put a want to buy ad in the classified section

    2) shop local gun shops and find a complete Savage rifle in .223 and remove and resell everything but the action.

Can you elaborate more on exactly what you’re looking for?

I don't want to yet. I'm Waiting to find a stainless short top release to replace it with.

I built a short action caliber on a long action, (like you are wanting to do)It is doable but the magazine issue is real pain to work out.

My advise is this: buy a 110 tactical. You get the accufit stock, the AICS bottom metal and magazine, and the 4.4 spacing action with the cool bolt knob. I saw it at Bud's for $649.

Take the barrel off and sale it. Buy a good new barrel change the bolt face and your done.

There was still no clarity as to what the OP is looking to do?

Misser, do you specifically want one of the older 112 Actions, or did you simply confuse the wording & it’s the Short Action you want? Tell us specifically what you are after, as pdog mentioned & we can offer the best advice.

I have a 112/223 that I traded for a while back. Was going to use the action for a 6.8 build but found one.

Go easy on me, first timer, new to the rules.

No problem. If you are looking to sell it, you can post a FS thread in the Classifieds section, since you joined Team Savage.
