    2023 NY fall coyote

Had a slow start to the season, but ended the opening week with five dogs down, including a double.
My Halo X50 shit the bed Thursday night, so I had to finish the week with the backup AGM Adder/20-250 rig.
Nvision sent me a new X50 scope, So it's going to get sighted in tomorrow and put into service tomorrow night.
Carrying around the heavy barreled 20-250 was getting old.

One small male down, two that wouldn't commit and another it looks like I hit in the video but we were so tired after a long night of prowling we couldn't find it in the heavy brush.

Tagged out on deer, So I decided to go to a dairy farm that was having some coyote issues.
    One issue down.

Here's the video of the last dog I called in on 11/20.
    https://youtu.be/agyUuyw1Vvc
It came from a long ways away and I missed it with the first shot because I got cocky and tried to take a head shot.
I forgot to record the kill shot, as I was too busy trying not to fall while running over the hill after it.

How far was he when you took the head shot?

    About 70 yards.
It didn't look that far away, so besides being cocky and taking a headshot, I also misjudged the distance.
Always wait to take body shots.
