110FP Conversion Mag to Standard Caliber

I have an older 110FP in 300 win mag of my dad's. I want to convert it to a standard bolt face which I know isn't hard, but my concern is the magazine. It is currently a staggered feed for belted mag. Will the same magazine setup work for say a 3006 size case?

    Thanks
    Harley

I believe it will feed fine. The 2 mag boxes are very close.

I had to change the magazine box on mine when I went from 300 WM to 6.5-06.

Yes. Most Short action cartridges will be fine in a long action. But some do have feeding issues. Though there is always a fix for said problem.
