Is this the place for Savage Striiker Questions?

None of the forum topics seem to fit Savage Striker pistols. Is this the place for them because they are sort of a 110 action? The other pistol forum topics don't seem to be right either.

    Sorry to sound so dumb.

I have what I believe is a 510F, since it is blued, and I think that only the F model came blued.
First I would like to confirm that.

Interesting to me, the frame does not say Savage or show a Model number on it. The barrel that came on it, the .308 14", has the name Savage and a model designation, and the bolt has the Savage name, but nothing on the frame. Seems odd?

Last question, it has a two round mag, but the rounds sit low in the mag, if I press them both in, then the bolt doesn't strip a round free to load to the chamber. Does it need to start with a loose round floating on top of the follower?

F would be a date code.
510 was blue and 511 was SS
    serial number is on frame.
No it should be 3 rounds, one in the chamber and 2 in the mag.

    Thanks for that.

The serial number does start with F, but this page of the Stoeger Industries catalogue does call the Model 510F.

I have found a few pages, from 1999 to 2002 that show an F in blued steel.

Not exactly sure what you mean. Here's a picture of the trigger.

You have the second generation trigger (version). There were three. Third and least common the pivot on the mag box was sandwiched between two metal tabs instead of the one in an attempt to stiffen flex points.
